Johnstown, Pennsylvania-based consultant and educator Dr. John Kriak currently serves as President and CEO of CAMMCO, LLC, a consultancy with focuses in the pharmaceutical, medical, and clinical sectors and clients including psychometrics firm Arroki, Inc., and continuing pharmaceutical education company Dannemiller. In addition to his work with CAMMCO, Dr. John Kriak maintains 15 years of teaching experience, which he presently applies through positions with Kaplan, Inc., and other organizations.
Dr. John Kriak earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the Mylan School of Pharmacy at Duquesne University and performed his residency at several Pittsburgh-area hospitals before launching his career. During his residency, he oversaw optimal drug therapies for patients in such clinical settings as internal medicine, infectious disease, critical care, cardiology, oncology, and pediatrics.
Over the next six years, Dr. Kriak focused on teaching. He served as an Assistant Professor and Course Instructor at Red Rocks Community College, Seton Hill University, Anne Arundel Community College, Malcolm X College, Conemaugh School of Nursing, and the University of St. Francis. In addition, Dr. John Kriak began working for Kaplan, Inc., in 1995. Since joining the company, he has created content for US Medical Licensing Examinations, as well as additional licensing and board tests, and operated as Director of Pharmacy Programs. He currently serves as a Kaplan Educational Consultant, Educational Content Developer, Teaching Assistant, and Author for the firm’s Product Development unit.
Since 2003, Dr. John Kriak has focused on consulting through CAMMCO. His areas of expertise include the design and implementation of clinical programs and clinical and U.S. Food and Drug Administration research trials, development and execution of medical and pharmaceutical educational services, and acquisition of federal and commercial grants. Outside of his work with CAMMCO, Kaplan, and other companies, Dr. Kriak donates to nonprofit groups. In the past, he has contributed to the American Cancer Society, Inc.; the American Diabetes Association; Food for the Poor, Inc.; and Catholic Charities USA.
